iMovie 3 is known to be sluggish. I've got it on a G3/300 and, essentially, it's unusable for people with my level of patience.
Apple are well aware of the problem and are rumored to be releasing an update today, either iMovie 3.0.2 or Java 1.4.1. We will have to see what comes of it! (Bearing in mind that Microsoft's one-a-day updates usually patch security holes, whereas Apple's one-a-month updates actually seem to improve things) Matt (my first time using Mail.app, finally have internet on my Beige!!!
