I have been a Mac head for over 15 years, and have loved any minute of it. I have a client who encountered a major problem with her iMac. I have never seen this one before. When she hits the power button on her iMac she gets a single chime, and then it just goes to a white screen. No boot up. She did all the following.
Tried Zapping the PRAM, Booting with extensions off, Booting from Mac OS install CD, Booting from Disk Warrior and Tech Tool Pro. Basically she covered all the usual suspects. She has had this iMac for 3 years, with no problems. I told her to check her Applecare Warranty to see if it was still good. For my own curiosity, has anyone seen this before. I'm thinking maybe bad ram, logic board. Thanks. Aaron W. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
