Is it possible to replace the cd-rom in my beige G3 233/466 MT with any ol' ATA/IDE CD/RW drive? (more specifically, a cheaper PC model) What about a CD/RW DVD drive? Anybody done this? What should I need to look out for? Etc. What software will I need to make all this happen?
If I upgrade to 10.2, will that cause me and my new drive grief? Here's another problem: Is there any way to make said G3 (9.1)set up as a print server work with my Pismo running 10.2? I can't figure it out, and Mac Help says it can't be done. But I've seen things that "can't be done" become done via this list. Thanks -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
