One of my Beiges has an EIDE Panasonic CD-R/W (fully bootable) in place of the standard CD-ROM *and* a SCSI Yamaha CD-R/W (not bootable) just below it. Both work well with Toast; the Yamaha is used mainly for Retrospect backups, as my version of Retrospect does't recognize anything but "packet writing" SCSI CD-R/Ws (of which the Yamaha 8824S is one). -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
