Kernel panics are UNIX crashes basically. In 10.0.x and 10.1.x they were seen as debugging code dumping onto your screen. In 10.2.x they show up as that message. If you are getting them that much there is something really wrong. Is it reproducible or random? I haven't seen one on any of my several G3 and G4 based systems in months and they are not terribly common [although also not unheard of]. While crashes were part of life with Classic Mac OS [7.x-9.x] if you are getting them with 10.2 something is not right.

About every week or two I get a message that says

This has happened on several different machines. iMac (G3), G4 tower, G4 Upgrade and G4 at work.

This is a strange message. I have never heard anyone mention this. Am I the only one who gets this message?
