The 104 works fine in my Beige
I've been wondering, what are you all out there using for beige-case-compatible burners (CDRW mainly).
I have a Cendyne 42-24-42 (or maybe it's a 42-16-42 I forget) which is a rebadged Lite On LTR-48125W, bootable, works like a charm with the current versions of OSX disk burner, etc...I don't know about OS9.
It does fit behind the bezel, but you gotta pop off the front of the tray. (not hard...it has some tabs that fit into a couple slots on the front of the tray. slide it straight up and it comes off.)
I ended up leaving the bezel off of mine so I could see the burn lights. Drilling some properly placed holes in the bezel would work for that, too.
