I tried screen zoom and I hate it. When I moved cursor, there was strange behavior. Francine Cube 450 mhz, memory 768 MB, hard drive 20 GB, OS 10.2.6
Then the best solution is to get a larger monitor (a 19" CRT is reasonably cheap) and run a compatible resolution on it, like 800x600.
