Well, count me in the lucky 10% then. My combo card works perfectly. Bought it off ebay for $27 shipped from ebay user theplace. Worked instantly with OS X, and I am now happily burning cds on my external firewire burner (didn't work with the B&W's FW ports). I also have a USB printer and mouse hooked up to it.
