I have mixed memory like that (3 different speed 256 meg strips) and it seems to
be no problem.  What would be a problem is if one of the strips isn't up to par. 
That's hard to tell by testing though.  Why not pull one at a time and see how
it affects the machine.

I've tried slight overclocking of my 466mhz G4 zif.   I plan to pull my slowest
memory strip to see if the machine is more stable when overclocked.
