Do you suppose that Roxio's Toast 6 promised for September will work (albeit more slowly than G4 or G5 machines) with our G3 processors?

It promises neat stuff like VCD burning with menues, SVCD burning with menues, DVD authoring and burning to any DVD writer that Toast 6 recognizes.

Could we squeeze out a little more time out of our aging G3 machines by investing in Toast 6 (about $100 US), a third party DVD writer (I can imagine DVD-R, or DVD+R, or DVD-RW...)?
