Yes indeed


My ISP, Comcast.net , has built in software coding at the server  to
prevent two computers sharing one IP address

I believe that their System guys can even block the use of any 2nd
computer no matter which router, etc that is being used.

I had to sign up for an additional $6.95 for a second IP address to run
my 2nd box.


I was also told that even if some hi-tech type were to break their
code, it would be a felony offense under NJ law!

Now, that's odd as I have Comcast.net for my broadband connection as well and have an Asant� FR3004LC Router hooked up to my incoming and 3 computers here online with no problems whatsoever.....
