Lil, I will answer where I can
>I cleaned up my 2GB harddrive (drive #2), First problem, Jag barely breathes in 2g, was there anything else on the drive or was all 2 gig free? >I could never figure >out how to change the resolution, Go to system prefferences in the dock, then click on Display >When I tried to open files from my drive (drive #1 with 9.2) OS 9.2 booted >up in a separate window (I thought this was sorta cool!) but then, I expected >it to give me the option to use full screen and continue with OS 9.2 (I was >hoping to have an interface like Virtual PC 5) but no it is really weird, You only see the classic icon in the dock when it is starting up, then it goes away. When you start a classic application, classic runs in the background, but your menubar (notice the apple icon and apple menu on the left when you run a classic app?) and other parts of the system look just like 9.x when you are running a classic app. You may also want to set up a seperate System folder for classic different from the one you use to start up in 9. There are many things in a regular system folder that are not needed when you are using it as a classic folder. >then >the OSX bar at the bottom was in the way (its kinda huge), Go to system prefferences and click on the Dock icon. If you set it to the smallest size and move it to the right side of the screen, it takes up less space than tearing off the application menu did under os 9, plus you can see through it. >All I see in that drive is a bunch of unrecognizable stuff, I don't want to >erase OSX since someday Apple will drop support on 9.2 and we are going to be >stuck in Jaguar wether we like it or not, so what now?? Apple has already dropped almost all support for 9. What you have now will work for you in 9 for as long as you own your beige. But everthing changes with time, for example, there are a lot of things that ran under 6 and 7 that broke with newer OSs that Apple never fixed.
