I have a beige G3/333 MT that just up and quit one day. I came downstairs, pressed the power button, got the startup chord, and no video. In addition to the built-in video, I had installed a Rage 128 card, which I know works, because it went to another machine (the one I'm using right now) along with the monitor. The monitor light goes to green, then back to amber. I also do not hear it access the drives. Here are a few things I tried:

1) swapped out RAM
2) removed all PCI cards
3) unplugged all hard drives and removable drives
4) screwed around with the cuda button, removed and replaced battery in compliance with what some people told me

And nothing. is there anything else I can try?

Sounds like a dead PRAM battery. Try this: Power up after it does what ever it does give it the three fingered salute (Command-Control-Power). If it starts up okay then the battery is kaput. Those symptoms fit a dead PRAM battery on various other models, I just don't know specific ally about the beige G3.
