I have a network of a couple of Beige G3s running 9.2 tied together with ethernet, however each person has an old workhorse LocalTalk laser printer (Laserwriter Select 360, LW IIg, LaserJet 5MP) hooked to their computer.
I have installed LocalTalk Bridge 2.1 on all systems. The annoyance is that the first time each day that we print to a printer, we almost always get the error message that the printer could not be found. If we click the Try Again button, it finds the printer and prints just fine. I don't have to go to any setup or control panels to get them to print, just hit the try again button. I've tried trashing prefs etc with no help. This is not life shaking, just a minor annoyance and it is tarnishishing my reputation in the company as being able to fix anything technology related.
