When switching to a new email program it's best to "cut the cord" and 
start using the new one and stop using the old one. There is less 
confusion that way.
Any comments on getting text out of email more easily? (All
I know how to do is cut and paste, and that's cumbersome for
long threads - actually it's just cumbersome, period.)
With a message highlighted in the inbox in Mail go to the File menu and 
you will see  Save As... There you can save as text or rich text.
