Yes.  I totally agree.  In MD, the state paid upwards of 10 million for 
the license to sell MS products at 5$ a disc (for processing), so 
students and staff actually get the products for free, granted the 
Apple stuff wasn't included until last year.  I don't use Office X 
anyway.  I've been an Apple Works user since version 6, and I'm very 
happy with it.  OpenOffice works just fine as well.
