I think $10 should be the most that is charged to make up the difference
between Mac & PC on this video card.

Basically, if they hadn't screwed up the Radeon 7000 Mac driver about a year
ago, then reflashing the PC version of this card wouldn't be this easy (it
would most likely involve removing the flash chip). Since they charge such
an incredible premium for the Mac version, there was a bit of an backlash
amoungst those who used this loophole. If the price difference was more
reasonable, then I'm sure most people wouldn't bother and would support
ATI's Mac R&D.
