I have always wondered why Microfrontiers Color-It and more specfically it's professional line Enhance 4 with layering ability never took off. Many people have never even heard of it. Most plug-ins worked with it, except those specific to PS. One reason, is that there are no books out, except those that come with it. But it is very intuitive and easy to use, unlike PS which is a bear to use. It also has multiple undos which PS 4 did not have at the time. Of course, PS 5's histories are better. But they have mainly just sat at Enhance 4 and have never improved upon it, except Color-It will have an OS X version. Adobe makes powerful products but they are never intuitive and easy to use. Look at Adobe Reader? Although, I try to suffer through Photoshop but if I want to get something done, I still will use Enhance 4.
