CCC works for SOME people. For some it does not.

After working with CCC for about 10 hours now, writing to the author (who did not respond), my opinion is that CCC is junk at the worst, unreliable at the best, and not worth the time.
Then something was wrong with your system. CCC is an applescript GUI wrapper around the 'ditto' command-line tool that Apple's system folks wrote for this very task...
