I have spare adb keyboards - are you in the UK? If so, you are welcome to one for the postage- dunno whether postage would be worthwhile elsewhere.
I use a USB MS optical mouse - the 5 button job, with my Beige. The mouse look foul, but works well. I have USB keyboards that I use, but keep returning to the original adb one that came with the beige.
