Two in drive bays with a superdrive and the floppy drive so all four are filled. The forth, as and afterthought when I was desperate for more storage is hanging loose next to the mother board. Terrible, I know but it's been working for a while now.
The real problem is cabling. Even with good 24 inch round cables, it is hard to get all four drives attached to the pci card. 30 inch cable would be better, but I probably still would have trouble getting drives three and four (the loose one) on the same cable.
