My machine at workis a 7600/132 with a second drive and a ups board. Lately it has been locking up regularly but for no obvious reason. When this happens the usb mouse is still active, but the machine doesn't respond. The same thing occurs when booted from a Norton disk, which to me suggests hardware and excludes a usb problem.
