Hey all,
I recently dropped a chunk of change on the following upgrades for my Beige G3
(Rev. C):
256MB PC100 CL2 168 pin SDRam
PowerLogix PowerForce G3/800MHz ZIF
PowerLogix RapidFire 2-Port USB/ 3-Port FireWire PCI Interface.
ATI Technologies RADEON 7000 MacEdition PCI
I would like some suggestions on the order of installation of these upgrades.
I am planning on spending next weekend slapping the "new" frankenmac together,
after the parts arrive.
After zapping the PRAM, the course of action that I am planning on is ZIF, FW
Card, RAM, and Radeon. I know that there are a whole bunch of issues with the
Radeon, and if anyone has any heads up considerations, please let me know.
If anyone has feedback, please cc me personally, as I am a digester.
