There were only three cards made for that slot.  Audio, A/V and DVD A/V.

The cards  have been referred to as wings, perch or personality cards.  The slot
is, as far as I know, a modified pci that is dedicated to these cards and
nothing else.  It's kind of a nice design feature that never went as far as it
could have. 

One of the internal sockets on all three cards is for the internal modem card
which blocks off the external modem port.  The A/V card, with the video input on
the back, had a ribbon connector for connecting to a DVD drive of some
sort...I'm not clear how it was meant to be used.  This connector is missing
from the later DVD A/V card which had onboard DVD hardware decoding ability but
could be used only with the rev 3 motherboard as long as no additional video pci
card was installed.
