I have always used Stuffit Deluxe. It's useful if you
want to send archives through e-mail. Mac files tend
to get corrupted if you send them without being
Stuffit. It also has features where you can segment
the files which is useful if the file is larger than
1.3mb or more to put in floppies. Also it's difficult
to send large files with e-mail, so you can segment
the file in smaller units; then send them off in
smaller units. Once they are gathered at the other
tend, Stuffit puts them back together.

 If you are getting low on space on your hard drive
and still want to keep them, you can use Stuffit to
make them considerbly smaller. It makes it eaiser to
save stuff. You don't actually need Stuffit Deluxe;
the lite version does alot as well.

I also like to use Aladdins Shrinkwrap which is far
superior than Apple's DiskCopy. ShrinkWrap works just
like DiskCopy, except much faster and more efficient
space wise. You can actually run prorams when they are

ShrinkWrapped.
