I have Quartz Extreme running on my Beige 266 with a 64M PC Radeon
7000. The PCI Extreme hack works great.
I think I read on LEM that QE caused about a 15% hit in performance.
Running Xbench before and after installing PCI Extreme showed only a
one or two percent decrease in performance.

Hope this helps.
