In the Library folder in your Home Directory, there is a preferences folder. There should be a folder called Microsoft. There are several files in there. I'm guessing but, throwing out the Office Registration Cache X file should do it. If not, try Microsoft Office Settings (10), Office X First Run, or MS Office ACL [English] files.Where do I delete existing SN# on Office X - MAC OS 10.2.8I'm not sure of the answer to your question (I'd like to know, also), but
I am running two computers on network, only alows one to run office at a
time, I have additional serial number, I have tried to delete and
re-install app, but still retains original serial #
Thanks in advance
perhaps simply turning off file sharing on the 2nd machine could be a
work-around until you find out. At least that worked in Classic OSs.
Best regards,
Dana
Hope that helps, Brian
