Or, in other words -- is it possible to use the d2 hard drive with both
my B&W G3 at home running OS 8.6 and my Dell laptop at work running Win
2000 Professional? The documentation that came with the drive says
nothing about it and i've had no luck with LaCie tech support. Any
ideas, comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks,
I have had problems cross platforming different partitions on the same
volume. What I ended up doing was buying some software called MacDrive 5
that allows a PC to see a Mac formatted drive like a normal PC drive. That
way you can file share back and forth between the two OS's. Inexpensive
software that works flawlessly. Give it a Google.
What Kyle said. MacDrive rocks.
It just works, no weirdness, no odd problems, it just works like I forget it's there until I try to use a Mac disk on a computer without it; all my drive are belong to it. 8-)
