Check your Keyboard control panel and make sure you have the proper keyboard selected.

Thanks - I checked, and the U.S. keyboard is selected. I should probably have said that when I type my emails out, *I* see apostrophes and quotation marks, but when the email gets sent out, the recipients see question marks. Also, I?m not sure that it happens in anything other than Appleworks, now that I think of it. I did have an instance once where I was replying to someone and was typing the reply in my email program (mail.maclaunch.com), and I didn?t have the problem.

When you have this happen with AppleWorks do you type an apostrophe do you get a question mark? Or are you composing mail in AppleWorks and then pasting it into your e-mail program?

What e-mail program are you using?
