The AIO power supply is a unique beast, unto itself, and swappable with no
other computer, Mac or PC. That's why if the power supply in your AIO craps
out, it's better to just get another case, be it a G3 DT, G3 MT or even an
ATX case intended to be a PC. There are articles that describe how to hack a
typical ATX power supply to work with a Mac mobo.

When I first started my "FrankenMac" MT, after finding out I needed to
change the J28 (power supply) jumper to PS/2, I had my fingers crossed.
Luckily, the only thing that it took out was my iomega Predator external
CD-RW drive, and everything else, internally and externally worked just
fine. Found a used, bootable internal CD-RW drive, at Mac ResQ sometime last
year, and all is well with the world, again, when it comes to disc writing.
