All,

Since we are in the mood of all things audio. I want to record talk radio (not streaming audio, but FM). I'd like to do it all on my Mac. Ideally speaking, would like the following setup:

1) Some sort of FM feed (PCI card or radio plugged into Mic jack, or something).
2) Software that can record from that input (the Mic). Small file format. Will be recording 4-6 hours per day.
3) Here's the biggy, be able to setup timers to record the shows I want when I'm not around.
4) Some other non-Mac ability to do said from above. Heard someone once say something about archiving on VHS...?

I can see the sweat beads on the foreheads now... ;) TIA

Thanks,

Glenn
