I was having the same sluggish response from my rev. 1 B&W on 9.2.2.
After reading one of the earlier posts, I went and downloaded the newest
installer from the Iomega site. The installer adds version 6.1. The
installer is available from Iomega for free. Try this address, hopefully
it'll just start downloading.
