Why is it that sometimes on my beige MT text input in the finder is so SLOW? It might have something to do with waking from sleep, but once it starts it's stuck that way. It happens with applications too. It's like two characters per second appear on the screen and I have to wait after typing for a whole line of input to appear. What can cause this?

Sonnet Encore G4/400
768MB RAM
Radeon Mac Edition (2nd monitor connected to built-in video)
Sonnet Temp USB/FireWire
SIIG ATA-133 controller
Wacom ADB Tablet
USB: Hub with Epson Stylus Photo, Zio CF Card Reader
Firewire: CD-RW and Epson Perfection 3200 scanner

Thanks,

Charles
