I have a G3B&W that I am using in my retail business, running a point of sales program. Connected to it I have a 15 LC Display. Because the cash register parts of the system sits on top of the sales counter, and the G3 lives under the counter, I had to add a VGA extension cable. I now get ghosts: three of them.
The extension cable I used was a six foot Belkin Pro Series. (I really only need about eighteen inches of additional cable) I was considering picking up one of the Belkin Pro Series High Integrity VGA/SVGA cables to see if it would be an improvement. Replacing the entire monitor cable with a slightly longer one is not an option, as the cable is permanently attached on the monitor end.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for banishing the ghosts?
Nancy
