Had a few times the same problem with installations I take care of. Untill I spoke with a service-engineer of a local TV/Mon./Disp.-repairshop. He asked: "Which monitor to ...??", looked at his 9 yrs old PM 800, smiled and gave me a piece of cable, 2 cylindric connectors and 2 pieces of isolation-shrink-hose plus an instructionpaper. Costs: Euro 8,- (= US$ 10,-). Do-it-yourself-time: � 10 min. Never had any problem in any of the 7 situations I used this solution since.
