So I got my 900mhz PowerLogix G3 ZIF today for my Blue and White G3.
But when it boots, I can hear the mac chime, and normal mac booting noises, but the video is all garbled.
My video card is a re-flashed 64mb PC Radeon 7000. It works great with the old 450mhz G3 (I wouldnt give it up, id rather have the 450mhz G3 with the 64mb than the 900 with something else).
Any ideas on how I might be able to make this work? It's very uncool.
Call PL and describe our problem to them, tell them you want a replacement ASAP.
PowerLogix Quality Control leaves a lot to e desired.
My brother went through 3 of the G3/800 Zif's before he got one that would work reliably in his B&W.
