I did this.

I could then see the Welcome to Mac OS screenb ut then it would just stop
and not do anything.

Anyway, now the G3 won't boot at all, with either processor.

I just get a gray screen (not black, it is a bright gray screen).

If I unplug all of the IDE cables, I get the blinking questionmark folder
icon.  But if I have any of the drives plugged into the motherboard
(including the CD drive), i just get a blank bright gray screen and it
doesnt go any further than that.

What the heck is happening here???  I don't even care about the dumb
powerlogix chip anymore its caused too many headaches.  I just want the g3
to boot the way it did this morning, before all this.
