I did this. I could then see the Welcome to Mac OS screenb ut then it would just stop and not do anything.
Anyway, now the G3 won't boot at all, with either processor. I just get a gray screen (not black, it is a bright gray screen). If I unplug all of the IDE cables, I get the blinking questionmark folder icon. But if I have any of the drives plugged into the motherboard (including the CD drive), i just get a blank bright gray screen and it doesnt go any further than that. What the heck is happening here??? I don't even care about the dumb powerlogix chip anymore its caused too many headaches. I just want the g3 to boot the way it did this morning, before all this. ---------- >From: Kris Tilford <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "G-List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: PowerLogix problems. >Date: Thu, Feb 19, 2004, 3:20 PM > >The solution is to reflash the Radeon back to the 119 version of ROM >that all the Mac Radeon's originally shipped with.
