oh, well yes, if you want to watch things besides dvd, that is the best solution, and
probably even cheaper than a dvd player.  there is a trick, to make dvd's play through 
a
video card of your' choice, it has to be the "boot" monitor and you have to restart 
when
changing the primary monitor, at least i've gotten it to work that way.  of course 
you'll
need a wireless keyboard and/or mouse if you want a remote control, but then again i
usually don't find that necessary when watching a movie.
