I'd keep the IBM, and get rid of the Compaq though. I will still have a server with W2k Server installed and can use it for any tasks that require specialized software. For instance I design and fabricate twin turbo systems for late model cars and trucks (v8/v10/v12) and I have to have at least one PC based laptop to log data in their processors, for tuning work...none of the tuning/logging software comes in a Mac flavor unfortuneately. But I have about 6 spare laptops that are older, slower models, from 233mhz to 450mhz and I'll just keep one of these for that purpose specifically, getting rid of the rest. So if I was shopping for a laptop, I want to get one that is easy to upgrade the processor on as I won't be able to afford a really fast one to start. I definitely want a G4. What do you recommend?
