The usb extensions are not all obvious. On a Beige you need to install the USB Card Support 1.4.1 and read the docs that came with it. The docs list what is installed. Here's what the docs say: USB Adapter Card Support installs the following extensions in your System Folder. * USB Support * USB Device Extension * USB Software Locator (requires Mac OS 9) * HID Library * Serial ShimLib * USB Mass Storage Support * USB Mass Storage Extension Make sure these are all checked in your extension manager.
