You know, some of the programs that come free with digital cameras aren't bad. 
I don't like iPhoto either, too cumbersome.  Some of these programs have useful
print features and lots of other useful stuff.

Mostly, I use Camedia, that comes with the Olympus cameras.  It's quick,
conveneient and it supports drop and drag, which some of the others don't.  That
is, you can select one or a a bunch of photos from the Camedia window and drag
them to another folder or to Photoshop or Graphic converter.  They will move to
the new folder or open and appear in the app.  Very convenient.  The version I
use is a couple of years old and runs in os 9 and in Classic.
