OK - for some users - but I want to be able to find my files (images) at finder level with file names I assign in locations I choose - not buried in various iPhoto sub-folders. Also, if I import files that are already on my HD, AFAIK iPhoto will copy them, not move or catalogue them. If you are happy to do everything with iPhoto then I agree it is an attractive package but I use images professionally and it is not for me.
