     There are some very good commercial apps too - Extensis Portfolio 
and Canto Cumulus and the excellent Photo Mechanic Pro from 
camerabits.com which gives exposure comp in Photoshop. I have yet to try 
iPhoto as I don't think it has the capability to import the raw Kodak DCS 
format - I may be wrong so advice is welcome.
