>From what I understand, there in not enough difference between ATA100 and
ATA133, although you might see quite an increase over the native transfer
rates you get directly from the motherboard against an ATA card.  Still its
hard to beat SCSI on transfer rates.  You have to balance speed vs storage
space.

I prefer SCSI's transfer rates and use ATA drives as storage.  All depends
on what you need them for.
