I recently purchased a Canon BCJ-2110 from the thrift store for $5. This particular (and several other) Canon models have two ways to use ink: a single printhead with removable blank and tri-color cartridges, and a single large black ink cartridge. I bought a new black cartridge for it since I don't do much printing on my G3 AIO, and because the removable cartridges are quite small.

The printer is connected via USB to my AIO, and OSX has built-in drivers for it. However, it will not let you configure the printer for the black cartridge. It expects the combo black/color cartridge. Trying to print a web page to it resulted in a blank page.

GIMP-Print only has the BJC-2000 listed as a driver. Then again, I have an older version of the software.

Also, how do you tell the printer to clean the inkjets?

Any suggestions?
