No joke! We do this already for around 15 yrs. Some points to remind:
1) I guess we had an average result of between 60% - 70% with "unwilling"
   HDs to get them accessible.
2) In case of success: BU imm. and forget that HD or use for futher
   exp./fun only.
3) Put the HD in a wellsealed plastic bag. Best is vacuumsealed. Put in the
   freezer for 6 hrs. Take out and from now: Move the HD as less as poss.
   AND leave it in the sealed bag till it has roomtemp. (For opening earlier
   will cause a lot of condensation on/in the HD.)
4) Mount imm. after reaching roomtemp. and hope for the best.
