Optical replacement for Zip in an AGP Sawtooth G4?

Does anyone know if one can replace the internal Zip drive in a 
Sawtooth AGP G4 with something other than another Zip drive. I'm 
thinking a CD/DVD writer to complement the DVD drive. I'm concerned 
with bay space and any power voltage differences that may exit. If it 
can be done, I'd appreciate any suggestions for an internal CD/DVD 
writer. Thanks to all.
