My educated guess is no. See above link.
In the short term and for budget reasons I am looking at a  ZIF 
upgrade to g3/333 with a eye on a final goal of upgrading to a g3/700 
or g3/800.
I suspect your upgrade from g3/266 to g3/333 will be hardly noticeable. 
To 700 or 800 yes. So why bother with the g3/333?
I have a g3/366 MT that I've been tinkering with and for its upgrade I 
don't want to settle for anything less than g4/800.
I'm still waiting for prices to drop. And they should drop with every 
introduction of G5 speed bump.
