This is great advice. The difference with the faster system bus, DDR memory and the G4 processor, make it real hard to look at upgrading a G3. The perceived, and real, speed differences make it a whole different generation of computing. One thing you can do that really shows the difference, if you know some one with a maxed out older G3 DT or MT? Go and run a few programs on it, then hie thyself to an Apple Store and run the same things on their slowest e-Mac. It's pretty mind boggling. Even if you add a G4 card to the G3 you're still stuck with the 66 MHz system bus. You will notice the differences.
