File Serving Problem

Dear List

I have a PB 5300cs running OS 8.1 that I was connecting to my G3 MT running OS 9.1 via a phone net connection. I had set up both file sharing control panels successfully allowing the G3 to show the PB icon on it's desk top. I made a alias of the icon for future use.

However, I got things reversed from what I intended. I had wanted to have the PB to access the G3 as I prefer to work from the PB to the G3 rather than vise versa.

I tried to correct this by trying to change the File Sharing control panels to reflect this change in orientation. I completely jammed the system up until File Sharing wouldn't work in either direction.

Now I want to start over again. However, I can not get File Sharing to go back to its original state, with nothing in its fields. This would allow me to enter the information the way I want it. Has this happened to anyone on the list before? There must be a way to start over again. What should I do?

Robert
